Biography

Jason Brino is Special Counsel to the firm. His practice is concentrated in commercial and complex business litigation, with an evolving concentration in entertainment law. He is a member of the Maryland Bar and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Brino completed his law degree and undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame (J.D., cum laude, 1994, B.A. cum laude, 1991). Before coming to Bowie & Jensen, LLC, Mr. Brino practiced with the firm of Gina M. Harasti. P.C. in Baltimore (2001-2004) while teaching at the University of Maryland University College. Before that, he was an associate with Niles, Barton & Wilmer in Baltimore (1996-2001) and with Cooch & Bowers, P.A. in Annapolis (1994 -1996). While studying for his law degree, he also served as a legal assistant with Fulbright & Jaworski in London, England and held internships at the Inns of Court (Lincoln Inn), London, England and at the State's Attorney's Office for Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Mr. Brino is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) and the Baltimore County Bar Association. He is a member of the Justinian Society, serves on the board for Maryland Lawyers for the Arts and is a Council Member At-Large of the MSBA’s Council on Entertainment and Sports Law. Mr. Brino also serves on the boards of the Lutherville-Timonium Basketball and Baseball Associations, holding the position of Commissioner of the 9/10 age group in each.
