About Joe Norman
Joe Norman is an associate at the Norman Business Law Center, where he practices commercial law and commercial litigation. He has experience in corporate transactional work, as well as experience in prosecution and defense of federal and state employment law actions. Joe regularly advises businesses on compliance with various federal and state laws concerning employee rights and benefits, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA). He co-authored Louisiana Employment Law (Thompson Reuters 2016, 1051 pages) and contributes to the annual updates to Louisiana Corporations (Thompson Reuters 2016, 2 vols. 2,237 pages), two legal treatises widely used by Louisiana practitioners. Joe earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science from McNeese State University in 2012. He earned his J.D. from LSU Law School and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2015.
