About John Ball

John Ball is a founding partner of Keyser Mason Ball, LLP and now serves as Executive Chairman of the firm. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and advising companies in growth, as well as their refocus and restructuring in times of financial difficulty. In addition to transaction related work, John provides ongoing advice on corporate governance, business succession, shareholder agreements. Through the Firm’s sponsorship he serves as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors of Innovators Alliance and also acts as an advisor to one of its Chapters. ​ As well as practicing law, John is an active member in the community. He was a Business Law instructor for 10 years at the Bar Admission Court of the Law Society of Upper Canada and served on national committees of the Canadian Bar Association. He also served on the Board of Directors of corporations in the United States and Canada. He is past chair of the Board of Directors at the Trillium Health Centre and is currently a Board member of ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development.
