Michelle joined Helsell Fetterman in 2017 after earning her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law. During law school, she served as the Secretary and Treasurer of Immigrant Families Advocacy Project and was involved with Street Youth Legal Advocates of Washington and the Student Ambassador Council. She also participated in the Federal Tax Clinic, where she assisted low income individuals resolve their tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service. Michelle interned with Foundry Law Group and was the Richard S. White Fellowship recipient in 2016. Before attending law school, Michelle spent a year in South Korea, teaching English to middle and high school students. Though from the Seattle area, Michelle attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies in 2013. During college, Michelle was a fashion designer for Fashion & Student Trends, creating collections for two runways.
