Before that, he was an associate at Eluchans y Cía. (2006 - 2011), and foreign counsel at the law firms Arnold & Porter LLP - Washington, D.C. (August 2005-May 2006) and Winston & Strawn LLP - Washington, D.C. (May-December 2006), participating actively in the areas of international investment and institutional arbitration for investor protection. He is a researcher for the National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade (Arizona, U.S.) and serves as the institution's representative in Chile. He is the Executive Director of the Center for Implementation of Free Trade and a researcher at the Center for Free Trade Regulations at Universidad Mayor.
