Berman Fink Van Horn president and founding shareholder Benjamin Fink has been named the recipient of the 2025 Emory Law Alumni Service Award. This award recognizes alumni who have demonstrated significant, sustained leadership and outstanding service to the Emory Law community. Benjamin will be honored during Emory Law Weekend at the Annual Alumni Awards Reception on October 23.
“I’m honored to receive the Emory Law Alumni Service Award,” said Benjamin. “Emory Law does more than teach the law—it helps students build the skills and confidence to lead in their careers and communities. I am grateful for the scholarship assistance Emory Law gave me when attended. It’s been a privilege to give back to a law school that has given so much to me and our legal community.”
Benjamin is deeply involved with his alma mater. He served on the Emory Law Alumni Board for many years, including past terms as President-Elect, President (2021–2023), and Immediate Past President (2023–2024). Benjamin also served on the Dean Search Advisory Committee in 2023.
Benjamin focuses his practice on business and employment litigation, with an emphasis on noncompete, trade secret, and competition-related disputes. He has earned additional recognition from Chambers USA, World Intellectual Property Review, Super Lawyers, Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite, and as “Lawyer of the Year” for labor and employment litigation in Georgia by The Best Lawyers in America. He has also been elected a member of the Litigation Counsel of America. Benjamin earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University.
