Law is driven by compelling storytelling. Ashley Bowcott grew up as a writer in a family of legal professionals. She applies her love of writing with her experiences around the practice of law, using research, creativity and her legal acumen to effectively tell clients’ stories.
Ashley takes an analytical and introspective approach, weaving the law with the unique facts of a case to tell a complete story. She embraces the challenge and excitement of delving into the diverse industries of business clients; that passion for learning is an invaluable trait for her clients.
A graduate of Georgia State University College of Law (summa cum laude), Ashley was a Dean’s Scholar and among the top 10 first-year students presented the Outer Barristers’ Guild Award. She is a selected member of the Order of the Coif, an honorary scholastic society. Ashley also served on the Executive Board of the Georgia State University Law Review as the Student Writing Editor. Previously, Ashley received a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at University of Central Florida, where she was a Provost’s Fellow and she earned her Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) from DePaul University.
Outside of the office, Ashley can be found exploring the city of Atlanta by foot, including strolling the Beltline and hiking. She enjoys volunteering with Atlanta’s legal nonprofits, reading memoirs, attending concerts and watching baseball.
