Mr. Douglas’ practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.

Throughout the course of his more than thirty years of practice, Mr. Douglas has handled a broad array of local, national, and international cases, and has litigated in courts throughout the country. Mr. Douglas’ areas of expertise include commercial litigation of all kinds, insurance fraud and coverage litigation, civil RICO, employment matters, and land use disputes. In addition, he is the chair of the Town of Cortlandt, New York’s Zoning Board of Appeals, the chair of the Town’s Open Space Committee and Conservation Advisory Council, and a member of the Town’s Master Plan Committee. He is the recipient of the Westchester Municipal Planning Federation's 2018 Distinguished Citizen Planner Award. Mr. Douglas previously served as a Law Clerk for Judge Leonard D. Wexler of the Eastern District of New York.
