Doris Loomis brings clients extensive experience in estate planning and probate law as she advises on options available to ensure efficient management of an estate during incapacity and to structure an estate plan which promotes the orderly disposition of the estate at death. She places a particular focus on the reduction or elimination of federal estate taxes through lifetime gifts, credit-shelter trusts and inter vivos or testamentary charitable trusts. In estate and trust administration, she strives to provide supportive and knowledgeable counsel to personal representatives and trustees.Doris serves as mayor pro tem for the Town of Biltmore Forest and as a member of the Board of Trustees of UNC-TV. She is a member of the Brevard Music Center Board of Trustees and serves on the Boards of Directors of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra and Memory Care. Doris is Vice Chairman of the Board of Givens Estates.
