Jamie is passionate about two things: serving the clients of GVM Law, and wine. An avid wine enthusiast, Jamie can often be found in a wine shop or traveling with his wife, Cleo Pahlmeyer, promoting her family's well-known Napa Valley wines.

He loves living in Napa for the city's small-town feel and extensive opportunities to experience the world's greatest wines and restaurants. These features, along with Napa's wonderful cultural events, beautiful weather, and stunning scenery, leave Jamie asking, What more could you ask for in a community?
Jamie is a partner in GVM and Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law designated by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He is one of very few lawyers in the State of California to practice both Elder Law and Advanced Estate Planning. He regularly speaks in seminars and private lectures regarding Medi-Cal Planning, Veteran's Benefits, and Special Needs Trusts. In addition, he lectures with Dave Gaw on the topic of advanced estate planning throughout California.
Jamie graduated with a B.A. in International Business, cum laude, from Linfield College in Oregon. His collegiate career is highlighted with studies abroad in Austria, and a national finalist for the Fulbright Scholarship, culminated by graduating with distinction from McGeorge School of Law in 2008.
In his free time he enjoys socializing with friends, gardening, playing basketball, golfing and traveling with his family to the world's great wine regions. He serves on the board of the Napa Valley Community Foundation, PACE Solano, and PSI Napa Valley
