John has been at Forbes since 2011 and specialises in Commercial matters, heading up Forbes' Manufacturing & Engineering sector group and takes an active role in the Construction sector group. John works for clients across a range of sectors and trading on both a national and international basis.
John's work predominantly relates to advising on, negotiating and drafting contracts governing the provision of both goods and services (B2B and B2C) but also deals with a wide range of commercial contract matters including agency, distribution, manufacturing, consultancy, franchising and other bespoke matters. John regularly acts in connection with construction projects, implementing building contracts, collateral warranties and other ancillary agreements.
John also advises on and assists businesses in relation to the identification, protection and exploitation of intellectual property and IT issues including digital compliance, software development and licensing agreements and support and maintenance contracts.
