About Liz Conemac
For Liz, family is one of life’s greatest sources of happiness. When she’s not at the office Liz can likely be found spending time with her husband, parents, and seven siblings.
While she loved the hustle and bustle of San Francisco during her college years, Liz found that her hometown of Napa was the perfect place to settle down following graduation. Living in Napa allows her to be close to family, enjoying weekends with her youngest sister, regularly playing tennis with her husband, and dinners with her parents in Napa’s wonderfully quiet, unhurried environment.
Having worked at Gaw Van Male since graduating college, from receptionist, to legal assistant, to attorney, Liz has created strong relationships with the firm’s clients, and has been a familiar face for clients over the past decade. Liz refers to her colleagues at the firm as her work family and truly enjoys the close relationships she has with her colleagues.
Liz has been a member of the Gaw Van Male team since 2002.
Liz knew when she began law school that she wanted to be an estate planning attorney, and was able to concentrate her course work at UC Davis School of Law on estate planning, business, and tax classes. While attending law school, Liz continued working part-time at the firm.
Because of her unique experience working at the firm before and during law school, Liz has over 10 years of experience in Estate Planning. This experience enables Liz to skillfully and creatively navigate the complexities of estate planning and family dynamics to design estate plans that meet each client’s special circumstances. Liz understands that listening carefully and making the complex understandable are the keys to a successful client relationship in the estate planning field.
Liz is actively involved in the legal community in Napa. Liz serves as Chair of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Napa County Bar Association and is Treasurer for the Young Lawyer Division of Napa County.
