In 2002, Moniek Hofland completed her law studies at Tilburg University. After that, she worked as a lawyer with a law firm in Rotterdam. Apart from general practice, the focus of her activities was mainly on persons and family law. After four years, she wanted to continue her activities in the south of the Netherlands and as of 1 April 2007, she has been active as a lawyer in Breda, focusing her practice solely on persons and family law. Moniek is a member of the Dutch Family Law Lawyers and Divorce Mediators Association ('vFAS'). Furthermore, Moniek is the regional coordinator of the vFAS for the district of Breda. In this district, she is the point of contact for members of the association and organizes lectures and other activities in the area of family law. The vFAS is an association of lawyers specializing in persons and family law.
