  • Represents one of the world’s largest real estate investment trusts with assets in excess of $36 billion. In his capacity as outside             counsel to this real estate investment trust, Theo has advised on the acquisition of billions of dollars of real property and overseen         outside legal auditing of tens of billions of dollars of assets.
  • Represented and advised client with assets in excess of $600 million in drafting an estate plan and transferring real property to               avoid adverse tax consequences.
  • Represented real estate client in $12.6 million CMBS refinance of industrial office park.
  • Represented real estate company in $17.2 million CMBS refinance of commercial shopping center.
  • Represented client in sale of 10 NNN properties totaling over $30 million.
  • Counseled hotelier in connection with acquisition of a loan in excess of $50 million.
  • Advised and represented landlords in connection with unlawful detainer action concerning commercial tenants.
  • Represented and advised client regarding extinguishment of an existing Reciprocal Parking Agreement and compliance with city             zoning.
  • Counseled client in extinguishing easement with exorbitant fees.
  • Represented business in commercial lease negotiation for music venue.
  • Represented clients in the formation of a limited liability company in connection with the funding of a start-up entertainment                     business.
  • Counseled client in multimillion dollar sale of corporation.
  • Represented commercial real estate company in connection with the negotiation and drafting of a complex industrial lease.

Before and during law school Theo worked for The Pacific Companies, a San Diego based commercial real estate company, where he became familiar with the business and legal needs of real estate entities and the families that operate them.
