Elizabeth will work on all Nevada litigation matters including general civil litigation, probate and trust litigation, and family law. She will also be helping to grow the firm’s appellate practice, handling appeals directly, and as co-counsel/consulting counsel.
Having practiced in California as a litigator for 8 years and having served as a staff attorney for the Nevada Supreme Court for the past six years, Elizabeth is uniquely well positioned to meet the litigation and appellate needs of both California and Nevada clients.
Elizabeth received her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law and is licensed to practice in Nevada and California.
Abigail Stephenson, partner of BKF, said, “We are thrilled to have Elizabeth as part of our team. She is extremely bright and capable and will be a terrific addition for the long-term growth and development of the firm. We have made a commitment to adding lawyers to meet the demands of our growing practice and the needs of our clients. Hiring Elizabeth is part of our plan to add additional attorneys in the near future to maintain the exceptional and timely legal services that our clients demand and expect.”
“Blanchard, Krasner & French’s focus on providing its client with both high quality legal services and creative problem solving is a good fit for my broad legal experience at both the district court and appellate level and my years working on cases at the Nevada Supreme Court. I’m excited for this opportunity to use my skills to service the needs of BKF’s clients and Reno’s growing community.”
