New Look. Same KMB.
We're coming up on an important milestone in 2019 so, of course, we wanted to look our best. October sees the launch of the new KMB logo. Like us, it harkens back to the solid integrity of our founders, John Keyser, Colin Mason and John Ball, while encompassing the agility and innovative perspective of the new generation of partners and associates. We may have changed our look, but we remain constant.
This month's newsletter offers up some useful things you should know. Isabel Stratton, Trademark Agent from our Corporate/Commercial practice group, provides a useful assessment of the changes coming to trademarks practice and procedure (while rubbing salt in the wounds of Toronto baseball fans everywhere).
Nav Shokar, a member of the firm's Family Law practice group, explains why father and mother don't necessarily know best. In child custody and access disputes, the question of the best interests of the child is far broader and complex.
October is also the time to think pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. KMB is a proud sponsor of the Mississauga Fire Fighter's Benevolent Fund Pink Truck Tour supporting Trillium Health Partner for cancer research programs. Additionally, our firm fundraising efforts this month have also been directed to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. On October 19th KMB employees enjoyed a special office visit from the Mississauga Pink Truck and a PINK cupcake sale raising over $250 for breast cancer.
