At Martinot Abogados we are pleased to announce that we have hired Ana Luz Bandini Flores to head our tax practice.
Ana Luz, graduated as class valedictorian from Universidad de Lima, and holds a Master of Laws degree in international taxation from the Georgetown University, Law Center (USA).
Ana Luz was a partner in the tax & legal division of Deloitte & Touch in Peru, and also led the Peru desk in the International Core of Excellence (ICE) of the international tax practice of Deloitte Tax LLP based in New York. Previously, she has worked as a tax attorney in Ernst & Young, Estudio Ferrero Abogados, and Andersen Legal. Former professor of International Tax Law in the LL.M. Program at the Universidad de Lima (2009), and in the LL.B. Program at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (2007).
She is a member of the Lima Bar Association (2000), the Instituto Peruano de Derecho Tributario, IPDT (2005), and of the International Fiscal Association, IFA (2006). She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Ana Luz has an extensive experience in issues related to corporate and indirect taxes, as well as in international tax matters and in the structuring of cross-border transactions in a broad range of industries, including energy and telecommunications. She is also a regular contributor in international publications on domestic and international tax issues.
